Early Fall Work Roundup
Lots to post so I'll get right to it!

This eBook cover was a blast - thanks to long time clientFriend, Alicia for this job.

I'm proud to participate in the wonderful website, Help Ink by creating this limited edition silkscreen poster. Help Ink sells art with a twist - part of the proceeds go to a charity of your choice. Thanks to Robert and Drew for getting me involved.

Big thanks to Richard at the New York Times for this big section opener. This story is pretty interesting and you can read it here.

These sports spots were created for Greg over at the Boston Globe. This was a great chance for me to experiment with a slightly different style that I would like to employ more often with spot illustrations.

Here is a poster for High Point University Theatre for Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night.' After looking at other artwork for this play, I noticed that nobody ever focused on the great feeling of mystery and adventure that sets up the action: a shipwreck, a lost soul ... this seemed to be fertile ground for an illustration so I ran with it. This piece was definitely inspired by my hero, Hergé. Thanks to Jay and Ed for this assignment.

Finally, here is a quarter page illustration for Scientific American on the subject of rude and nasty employees having a ripple effect on the lives of their coworkers. Thanks to Patti for this job - my first for the magazine!
